Become a better swimmer – join BCSS
We are one of the leading competitive swimming clubs in South Wales. We are always excited to see new swimmers joining us and taking those first steps in becoming better swimmers and faster racers.
Entry to the Pathway and Competitive Squad is via an assessment session for swimmers who have the necessary skill levels to join.
Swimmers should have a minimum entry level of Wave 7 of the Swim Wales Aqua Passport Learn to Swim Framework or at an equivalent entry standard.
If your child passes the coach’s assessment then the Membership Secretary will contact you with further details regarding joining the appropriate squad.
As swimmers develop their skills, they will move into more competitive squads where they will work towards the standard required to represent their country at the highest level of the sport.
